  • 3/4 cup of white sugar
  • 1 gallon of fresh, clean snow

Now all you need to do is:

Grab a large bowl and add the milk, eggs, flavoring extract, and sugar. Mix well until smooth. Once smooth, add the snow in slowly. Once you’ve reached a consistency of ice cream that you’re happy with, your snow ice cream is ready! Eat immediately.

This recipe is inspired by one from Food.com. It’s far more traditional and requires a little more effort than the previous.

The ingredients you’ll need for this recipe are:

  • 1 quart of milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (or flavoring of your choice)

Step 1: Make a custard

Grab a pan and add the milk, egg, flavoring extract, sugar, and salt. Make a custard over a medium heat. Once it reaches a custard consistency, remove from heat and allow to cool.

Step 2: Make the ice cream

Now grab a large bowl and alternately pour some of the custard mixture, and then the snow, continually stirring as you go. Once you have reached the consistency you’d like – your ice cream is ready!

The last recipe we’re looking at does not require the use of eggs and only needs just three ingredients! It’s inspired by a recipe from Happy Hooligans.

The ingredients you’ll need for this recipe are:

  • 8-12 cups of snow
  • 10oz of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (or flavoring of your choice)

How do you make snow cream without sweetened condensed milk

Recipe

Now all you need to do is:

Add most of your snow to a bowl and pour over your vanilla extract. Mix together and then add your condensed milk and stir once more. Once all combined, you may want to add some of the leftover snow to reach the consistency you’d like. Serve immediately. If not ready to eat, you can freeze in an airtight container and enjoy when you’re ready.
