Tiramisu Made With Marsala Wine Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup marsala wine, divided
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • ounces mascarpone cheese (at room temperature)
  • 1/4 cup sweet marsala wine (such as vin santo)
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder, plus more for dusting tiramisu cake.
  • ladyfingers (savoiardi biscuits) split horizontally into layers if too long to fit across tiramisu pan. Or you can make your tiramisu using different shapes glass-like round or square etc.

Steps of making tiramisu with Mascarpone cheese and Marsala wine recipe

Step 1

Combine 1/2 cup of sugar and 2 tablespoons of marsala wine in a bowl, mix well until all the sugar dissolves. Add this to one small container and transfer half of it to another container by covering the container with plastic wrap. This will be used later as tiramisu syrup.

Step 2

Using an electric mixer, beat the marsala wine and 4 tablespoons of sugar together until it is dissolved completely. Add mascarpone cheese to this mixture and continue beating until creamy and fluffy.
