- 28 crushed saltine crackers
- 1/3 cup of egg-free mayonnaise
- 1 tsp. of spicy mustard
- 1/4 cup of diced onion
- 1/4 cup of diced celery
- 1 tsp. of Old Bay Seasoning
- 16 oz of crab meat
- 1/4 cup of olive oil

Now all you need to do is:
Step 1: Prepare the crab cakes
Grab a bowl and add the saltine crackers, mayonnaise, spicy mustard, onion, celery, and Old Bay Seasoning. Mix until the ingredients are just combined. Once mixed, add the crab meat to the bowl, ensuring there aren’t any pieces that are too large. Now fold the crab into the mixture until well combined. Now take out around 1/4 cup as a portion size and shape into a round patty roughly with your hands. Repeat this until you have used all of the crab cake mixture.
Step 2: If pan-frying
Place a pan over a medium to high heat and add the olive oil. Add your crab cakes to the pan once the oil is hot (it may need a few rounds of cooking, depending on the size of your pan).
