- 3/4 cup of all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 3/4 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup of whole milk
- 1/4 cup of melted butter
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
For the pudding sauce:
- 1/4 cup of cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup of light brown sugar
- 1/3 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups of water (boiling)

Step 1: Prepare
Gather all of the ingredients you need for this recipe and preheat your oven to 350F. Grab a square baking pan (8″ preferably) and grease.

- 1 box of chocolate cake mix
- 1 box of instant chocolate pudding
- 1 container of sour cream
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup of water
- 2 cups of chocolate chips
For the frosting:
- 1/4 cup of butter (room temp)
- 1/4 cup of cocoa powder
- 2 cups of powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup of heavy cream

Now all you need to do is:
Step 1: Prepare
Gather your ingredients and preheat your oven to 350F. Grease a bundt pan with butter and flour.
Step 2: Make the batter
Add all of the cake ingredients into a bowl and mix for around 30 seconds with a mixer on low. Then another minute on medium. Add the chocolate chips and stir well. Then pour the batter into your prepared pan. Place in the center of your oven for 55-60 minutes. Be sure to leave the cake to cool before frosting
Step 3: Make the frosting
Add the butter, sugar, and cocoa powder to a bowl and mix on a low speed. Once combined, add the vanilla and cream and beat until creamy and fluffy.
Step 4: Decorate
Frost the top of your cake as you wish and garnish with chocolate chips. Your cake is ready to serve!
