Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups of flour
  • 2/3 cups of warm water
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 2 red gala apples Please keep in mind that you can use any apples for this recipe of apple pie without eggs however, the apples should be sweet and juicy. If you choose a dry apple, this can cause your apple pie to also feel and taste dry. Try a granny smith or pink lady apple if you don't like red gala apples.
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp of nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp of salt

  • The first thing you will need to do is prepare the ingredients. This means getting them prepped for making the pie crust as well as the filling.
  • Step 2 can be tricky. You will need to make the pie crust from the dry ingredients listed above. Set aside a small portion of cinnamon and sugar to make the apple pie filling. Once you mix the dry ingredients well, it is time to add the oil slowly. Massage the oil into the dry ingredients to create a smooth dough that is easy to bend and roll.
  • During this step, it is also best to place the dough in the refrigerator. The refrigerator keeps the dough protected, while also encouraging stronger flavors. Right before using the dough in your recipe of apple pie without eggs, you should cut the dough into slices using a pizza cutter or butter knife.
  • On the stovetop, preheat a small pan with sugar and cinnamon. You will need to peel the apples and cut them into wedges. If you want the apples to be smaller, then dice them!   • When making this recipe of Apple pie without eggs, I recommend starting with the sweet apple glaze. While you cook and simmer the apple slices, you can set up the dough and cut it into the right shapes and sizes. Make the dough a minimum of 1-2 days before you bake your eggless apple pie!
  • If you make your apple pie dough before, this gives the dough time to settle and become firm in the refrigerator, making it easier to work with. Dough that is still warm can tear and break apart because it has not bonded closely.
